About Matthew Gray
Matthew has been playing in professional bands for over thirteen years, cutting a number of albums & EP's over that time, and is still actively playing and recording original music. His passion for music soon developed into a passion for sound engineering.
After full-time study in Sound Engineering, Matthew became active in recording and mastering several local, national and international bands including the likes of Travis, Jet, Eskimo Joe, Evermore, Superjesus, Sarah Blasko and Killing Heidi as well as working in production at Triple M and B105 for over five years.
His skills as a radio producer are well recognized and have earned him many awards including:
- Goldie awards for Best Production Technique in 2001, 2004 and 2005
- Best Client Produced Jingle 2004
- Highly commended award for Best Commercial Metro 2004
- Finalist award in the National RAWARDS 2001, 2002 and 2004
- Finalist award in the London International Advertising Awards for 2003
More recently Matthew has been mastering bands professionally full-time, having completed in excess of 2500 titles over the past 10 years.
